Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, following the meeting of its Board of Directors held on July 29, 2026 at the company’s factory in Manga Mandi, Lahore.
Financial Performance
During the quarter, the company recorded net sales of PKR 37.20 billion, compared to PKR 26.46 billion in the same period last year. Gross profit stood at PKR 2.87 billion, up from PKR 2.27 billion in 2025.
Profit before taxation was PKR 2.97 billion, compared to PKR 1.46 billion last year. After taxation, net profit for the quarter was PKR 2.49 billion, reflecting a significant increase from PKR 828 million in the corresponding period of 2025. Earnings per share (EPS) rose to PKR 17.41, compared to PKR 5.80 last year.
Balance Sheet Snapshot
As at June 30, 2026, total assets stood at PKR 54.30 billion, compared to PKR 59.11 billion as of March 31, 2026. Equity was recorded at PKR 26.64 billion, while reserves increased to PKR 22.38 billion.
Significant Event
During the quarter, Honda Atlas Cars entered into a settlement agreement with the Government of Sindh regarding the outstanding liability of SIDC amounting to PKR 4.85 billion. Under the agreement, the company will settle PKR 2.18 billion (45%) by July 2027, while the remaining PKR 2.67 billion (55%) will be paid in 48 quarterly installments. The liability has been measured at present value using an effective discount rate of 11.50% per annum, resulting in discounting income of PKR 1.59 billion, which has been recognized under “other income” in the profit and loss statement.
