Meezan Bank Continues Blood Donation Drive in Partnership with The Indus Hospital

Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s premier Islamic bank, once again partnered with The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), a major nationwide, non-profit healthcare system in Pakistan, to host a two-day Blood Donation Drive, reaffirming the Bank’s long-standing commitment to community healthcare. The initiative is part of a recurring series of donation drives the Bank has organized in collaboration with IHHN, reflecting a sustained institutional focus on public health rather than a one-time gesture.

Employees across the Bank volunteered to donate blood, in support of patients receiving free-of-cost treatment at IHHN, one of Pakistan’s largest providers of charitable healthcare. Each donor underwent general health screening and blood group testing administered by the Hospital’s medical team, with individual health reports shared directly with participants; giving employees a tangible health benefit alongside their contribution.

The drive represents a broader principle in Meezan Bank’s approach to corporate social responsibility: that sustainable community impact is built through consistency, not isolated events. By embedding initiatives like blood donation into its regular calendar, the Bank aims to create a dependable resource for institutions like The Indus Hospital, while fostering a culture of civic participation among its own employees.

Meezan Bank continues to explore avenues for deepening its engagement in public health and social welfare, with further collaborative initiatives planned across its network.
